Why Alesia?
Because the Battle of Alesia in the year 52 BC constitutes one of history’s most compelling examples of how human courage and ingenuity can transform near-certain disaster into triumph.
At Alesia – near the city of Dijon in modern France – Julius Caesar and his Roman legions found themselves outnumbered and trapped between two rebel armies. But through a combination sheer will and brilliant out-of-the-box thinking Caesar was able to reverse the tide of battle, inflicting decisive defeat on the Gauls and ending their uprising against Rome.
The guts and genius of Julius Caesar are our inspiration at Alesia Public Affairs. And we’ll bring the same ‘never-say-die’ attitude and strategic creativity to your election or public policy campaign.
